Last week I was so proud of myself for adding another leg to my morning run. Until that evening when my back started talking to me. Dagnabbit! DH says just to pull back and slowly add to my routine.
Then, a couple of days later I pulled on my jeans and was able to zip them without laying on the bed (don't laugh, you know you've done it)! And the muffin top was a little less noticeable. Hmmm, maybe this stupid exercise stuff does work.
That just means that the heating pad and I are going to be good friends until I can build up more strength in my back. Because... it is about intensity and burn rate, always has been.
